Tough choice. I love to travel, and I am fond of history. Sometimes, distant places can also be gateways to our own past, so I might prefer the flying carpet.

Would you be interested in a time machine to experience the past, or to find out about the future?

Mostly the past - I have this whole list of periods I'd love to go back to, starting with the Stone Age & working my way up to the Roman Empire. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon4.gif)
But I would also love to fast-forward a few hundred and a few thousand years into the future. To see if we're still there. Or who is. So, er, the short answer to that woudl be: both.

For me for ex. honey and hot milk is best for / against sore throat.

In fact, on all my long vacation trips I went on my own: One month to the U.S., and one month to New Zealand (twice).

^ Like you, Ive done most of my trips by myself, so, hm..... At the moment, Rome. I have lots of stuff I want to do and see there, so I woudlnt be good company. By myself, I'd be able to go to all the museums and historic places and spend hours staring at details. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
